yep he's right, fan not coming on, plugged radiator, just caught int he fins in the front or low on radiator fluid 50/50 mix, did you put the new thermostat in the correct direction? Is there a belt that needs to be tightened on your water pump like older models used to have?
Can anyone tell me what else to look at after i changed the thermostat when I use the AC my car starts to over?
What are you driving? Could be the fan(s) not operating, or a plugged rad.

Could be;Bad radiator cap, loose hose clamp, pin hole in hose, missing bumper air dam, plugged radiator, collapsed hose, water pump seal about to fail, engine running lean,Oxygen sensor setting air/fuel too lean, timing too far advanced, exhaust partially plugged, low fuel pump pressure, low water level, radiator external packed with bugs and dirt, loose fan belt. Good luck.
WHen you turn on your A/C, the fan(s) should come on instantly as the refrigerant requires immediate cooling. If the fan does NOT come on, you will have to figure out WHY?? Start by power washing the space between the radiator and the condenser at a DIY car wash. Good luck!!
