the coolant fan on my peugeot 307 hdi comes on and stays on for a long time even after you turn the engine off and it is flattening the car battery.i have changed the coolant temperature switch/thermostat but the problem still exists.does anyone know what the problem is.

The cooling fan should not drain your battery, Some car fans do run on after you have stopped and the ignition turned off but it shouldn't be for long.
It's possible there is a fault, more likely your battery may be unwell and not up to it's full potential.
