I had no heat at first took it to the shop they said it was the reservoir tank replaced that then there was a crack in the Radiator replaced that. changed thermostat. changed that piece that makes it go from cold to hot. sensor or something. now..... you drive it down the road it goes below cold on the Temperature Gage and if it is sitting in park it goes up and you have heat but take off and eventually no heat and the hand goes down

sounds like you might have one of 3 problems or a combination of all 3. first, the thermostat might not be the proper heat range for the vehicle, 2nd, the Temperature sensor may not be the correct one for the vehicle (or defective), 3rd, you might not have enough coolant in the radiator. have all 3 checked and replace anything that may be bad or not correct for the vehicle. NOTE: sometimes when replaceing the thermostat, you have to run the vehicle and squeeze the upper radiator hose while its running to get all the %26quot;air bubbles%26quot; out of the cooling system. that sometimes corrects the %26quot;heat%26quot; issues.

it is possible you could have air trapped in the system, or an additional leak such as a faulty radiator cap
If this car has an electric fan it also has a temp sensor to
tell it when to turn on and off when needed.check this it may
be bad and staying on all the time.
After trying everything else and it still won't heat up right,try placing a piece of cardboard in front of a portion of the radiator until the weather gets warmer.Some people do that with success.Ever notice how some big trucks will have a cover snap over the grille in cold weather?
after you drive it, shut it off and feel the radiator fins next to the fan. if you feel cold spots then it needs flushed out. in matter of fact flush out the whole cooling system including the heater core but don,t forget to bleed the system after you get done.
