THE DUMB CAR STOPPED GIVEN ME HEAT. AIR IS BLOWING OUT. NOT HOT. THERMOSTAT WAS CHANGED STILL NO HEAT. THE FLOOR BOARD IS NOT WET. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! i HAVE ANTIFREEZE. I AM FREEZZING HELP PLS.

Your heater core could have gone out,your heatercore dont always leak either when they go out.Or it could be stopped up.Best thing to do is change your heatercore and you will probably have your problem fixed.

It's the heater core.
Check to see if your car has a vacuum switch inline with one of the hoses If so, replace it.
(it will look like a small %26quot;can%26quot; with a vacuum line going to it)

sable has only a few parts to the heat system, core, blower, resistor, switch, relay. the newer ones also have control valve.
there is a new t-stat, and coolant is full, and no wet mess. means core is good.
air is blowing so that means switch, relay, resistor, and blower are all working.
if its not blowing hot air it IS either the valve in the heater line is broken and stuck in the 'off' position OR you dont have enough coolant (or you put your thermostat in backwards)
ps. i just today fixed a 94 sable heater.
the engine may have an air lock in the block, could have happened when thermostat was installed. Can loosen hose clamp at upper radiator hose next to rad, slide a pick under hose to see if air comes out or if coolant... May just have to bleed the block.
2 the water pump may be toast not pumping water... engine will over heat.
3 heater core may be plugged (never use stop leak products they can plug heater cores) heater hoses may be plugged, might try a radiator flush job.
i own a repair shop,and its possible it has a bad heater control valve on it,,this is what lets the hot water go through it to give off heat in the heater core,,its located on the out side in the heater hose,,its a valve that mounts between the hose,if this is bad there will be no heat,and also its possible it may be vapor locked in the heater core its self,,since you don't have a leak its maybe the valve or the inside control unit,these do go bad ,and wont let the heat divide from the cold air,,,check both heater hoses to make sure there getting warm,and if they are this means the coolant is going through the heater core,it may just have a bad control unit not allowing the heat vent to open up on it,,good luck,i hope this help,s,,at least you have a good starting point with it,,have a good x-mas.
I have a similar problem with my car...
The heater core is probably the problem, however, you should have the entire cooling system checked including the radiator. Make sure it isn't overheating and that the radiator is not plugged.
It might be wise to check that the control that adjusts the heat is actually doing its job and turning the heat on at the heater core.
You might also try getting a Hayes manual for your car and looking through the trouble shooting section to see if it has any suggestions. It should give you all of the info you would need to replace the heater core.
