1998 Grand Am thermostat?

I haven't seen this car yet, but when it gets here, I need to change the thermostat. Need to know where it is. This is a 3.8 V-6.

Grand Prix you mean? because the grand Am's don't have the 3.8's Other then that look along the upper radiator hose. you'll come to the thermostat housing. it'll be in here. remember to bleed off the air in the cooling system after you replace it and fill it up with coolant or you will have no heat. There are two little screws. one should be right there on top of the thermostat housing. warm the car up to operating temp and open this valve to bleed off the air. do this with any other bleed screw. over an over again.

follow the upper radiator hose to the engine, you hit the thermostat housing and the thermostat is undernieth that
My sister has one! But I don't know where it is, although like any kind of car, look for the radiator (if you have to ask us where that is, go get a bicycle) follow the hose that leaves the top of it, mostly to the right, and you'll see it, it wil before it disapears in side engine, now if it isnt over there, go to left side. Good Luck
