Car overheating?
you might go ahead and replace the water pump and the thermostat and the thermostat gasket.
Car overheating?
It could be your radiator that is not allowing the coolant to be distributed properly.

It could be a leaky hose.

Try this link..
If the water pump is leaking, you will have a squealing belt since the lower pulley drives the water pump.

Could be a problem with the head gasket.

The Rat
the thermostat could be defective.Water pump needs checked and radiator may need cleaned. Do you have good antifreeze?, One time that happened to me and I had a bad hose, and a little part that goes with it
